This autumn, BRACE is hoping to hold an energy fair in Llanfyllin. The fair will be an opportunity for everyone from Llanfyllin and the surrounding areas to share and discover ways to make their home more energy efficient. Simple and cheap measures can save huge amounts of carbon emissions and money, making everyday life more sustainable and more affordable.
A one-size-fits-all approach can often be problematic though. Solutions need to be applicable for the local community and environment. We’re looking to bring people together to share ideas and help one another implement solutions that work for the local area, making sure that everyone is aware of local initiatives and has access to local expertise.
For that we need some help though! Things are curently just at the planning stage. We need you to get involved and help us put together a stellar programme of events for the day and bring in as many local organisations and trades people as we can. No expertise required! We just need your enthusiasm, a bit of your time, and some willingness to get stuck in. Help us do the research and put together an event that can fire up local conversations about saving energy, saving money, and living more efficiently.
