The next OsBorders Repair Café, will be at the Public Institute, Llanfyllin, on Saturday 10th June, from 12–3pm, fixing of electricals, clothes, bikes and more. There will be refreshments as usual. A partnership between BRACE and Extinction Rebellion Oswestry & Borders, the Oswestry and Borders Repair Café brings local fixperts together with everyone in the community who needs a hand mending clothes, bikes, electrical appliances, furniture – or pretty much anything that needs some love. Fixperts provide their expertise for a small donation to help people restore their belongings and try to reduce the need for new consumption. With regular sessions alternating between the Llanfyllin Public Institute and Oswestry, there are slots for everyone to bring their sad or broken possessions along. Keep an eye out for the next date, or get in touch if you have expertise that you could volunteer!
