A partnership between BRACE and The Cross Keys, Y Pantri – Llanfyllin Community Fridge is due to launch at the Cross in December. The concept is to reduce food waste by sharing excess food via an easily accessible fridge that everybody from the community is welcome to take from. There is no charge but donations will be welcome.

Y Pantri, the Llanfyllin Community Fridge is now open. The opening hours are 10am to 4pm, Wednesdays to Fridays and 9:30am to 1:30pm on Saturdays. Do pop in to donate your unwanted food, or to pick food in need of a good home!

Llanfyllin’s community fridge project is nearly ready to launch and has a new name – Community Pantri Cymunedol – reflecting its wider potential. The Pantri is launching over the next two months and is looking for volunteers – if you’d like to help out please email the BRACE committee.
